Dental Veneers
Veneers are an excellent way to redesign and reshape your front teeth. These are a fragile ceramic shell specifically designed for an enhanced look. A veneer covers your existing tooth structure leaving improved tooth color, shape, and size. Matching the color of your natural teeth, our team will prepare the veneers. The treatment quickly covers your issues of stained teeth, cracked teeth, space between teeth, misaligned teeth, chipped teeth and many other.
Veneers can be made either with porcelain or resin material. Teeth made from porcelain material are better at resisting stains whereas the resin veneers have better light-reflecting properties close to that of natural teeth. Our experts at Almond Dental will be able to guide you to choose the option material of Veneer.
Placement of veneers takes approximately two to three visits. In the first visit, we will discuss the entire process of successfully placing the veneers. Our team will ask you for your input and the desired result you would like to see after the placement of veneers. Our team will also diagnose whether Veneers are suitable for your health along with sharing limitations of the procedure.
Once we have put a plan in place, we will carefully prepare your teeth for the placement of the new veneers. An impression of your teeth will be taken to develop an accurately fitting Veneers.
This impression is handed over to our laboratory for fabricating the final product. We only utilize the highest standard laboratory for the fabrication of all of our work. This process at the laboratory takes between 10-14 days. While the new veneers are getting ready at the lab, we will provide you with a beautiful temporary solution to wear for this time.
Once the veneers are ready, our team will place the Veneers on your natural teeth. After cleaning, polishing, and removing some enamel from your natural teeth, veneers would fit properly on your teeth. For proper fitting, the Veneer will be adjusted to the size of your natural teeth to give an aesthetic look. Our experts will then bond the veneers to your teeth with a special cement carefully. Some appropriate adjustments are needed before placement to ensure that you can enjoy your new smile for a very long time!
You would be called for a follow-up visit by our experts after 1 or 2 weeks to ensure that Veneers have been placed successfully and have correctly adjusted with your gums. Our team would also help you maintain proper care of the placed Veneers because if veneers were damaged, they would be irreparable. Furthermore, the Veneers are susceptible, and therefore excessive pressure on these might dislodge them.
Here at Almond Dental, we also guide our patients of the suitability of veneers. Generally, Veneers would not be suitable for patients with unhealthy or weak teeth, or with an insufficient amount of enamel.
